Cornicello Wine
Wine, cycling and architecture are my three passions. They nourished me and made me grow. I was born in Brooklyn NY, I grew up in a big city, the energy of the city always inhabited my mind as a child and continues to do so as an adult. Although far from any vineyard, my frequent trips to Italy bridged the gap of city life and farm life. Here I was left with only my palate and curiosity for wine and winemaking.
Years had past since those frequent trips to Italy as a young adult. But my memories of the Italian country side guided me to Paso Robles were I meet and learned from winemaker Tyler Russell. Tyler and I have continued to work together to create these amazing wines.
Cornicello Sangiovese Review from Wine Enthusiast Magazine
Dark-berry and cherry aromas range from fresh to more caramelized on the nose of this bottling. The palate kicks off with a fresh splash of tart red fruit, then moves into dried fruit while picking up star anise spice toward the finish.
